Positive: Our recent stay in Agerola was absolutely fantastic, largely thanks to our incredible host, Matteo, and his wonderful apartment. Traveling with our family of eight, including three seniors and some kids, we found the apartment to be spacious and perfectly accommodating for everyone. We all had a ball! The location of this property is incredibly convenient. With a bus stop right outside, a fantastic pizza shop ("Nando's") across the street, and a grocery store nearby, everything you need is literally on your doorstep. Getting to the stunning Amalfi Coast is a breeze – it’s just one bus ride away. Initially, our seniors, who use canes and hadn't been to Italy before, found the short, slanted walk up to the bus stop a bit challenging. However, Matteo, being the exceptional host he is, noticed this immediately. He went above and beyond, personally driving them up the hill and dropping them directly in front of the bus stop so they wouldn't have to walk. This act of kindness truly touched us and made their experience so much more comfortable. The bus from this stop provides easy access to all the key destinations: Amalfi Coast, ferries, Sorrento, Positano – you name it! Beyond the thoughtful assistance, the apartment itself was immaculate and spotless. We had absolutely no issues with cleanliness or anything else during our stay. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor balcony and seating area with its breathtaking views of the mountains. This property truly has all the conveniences you could ask for, and the proximity to the grocery store and the delicious pizza shop were definitely the icing on the cake. On a personal note, I made a huge packing blunder for my month-long trip to Europe, accidentally leaving all my clothes in Chicago. When Matteo learned of this, he was incredibly empathetic and even drove me to a store so I could purchase some essentials. His generosity and genuine care are truly remarkable.
